The Alien is a minor character in tomorrow won't come for those without ██████.
Appearance[]
The alien has an inhuman shape and appearance. It is a vaguely round and tall creature, with an orb above the main body. Towards the top of its body is a black circle with a white sparkle in its center.
Personality[]
The alien researches humans by becoming one of them, and eventually becomes confused by humans. It is unable to fully understand them, as it is wildly different than humans are, even perceiving the world and time differently. The alien also defines concepts such as love as colors, with love being a violet word.
The alien does not tell lies, and seems to care about Mari to some degree.
Story[]
tomorrow won't come for those without ██████[]
The alien may have been seen in the Circular Indulgence when Mari tells Ori that her body is no longer his sister's. When Ori asks who she is, she states that she is an alien and paints her nails violet the next day. However, Mari later speaks directly to Ori in the Cross Indulgence without being an alien, which may mean that she simply repossessed her body from the alien after Ori applied for The Choir.
The alien itself is only seen once, in the Noise ending if the player chooses to listen to the noise. It will monologue about how it came to Earth to study humnakind, and had to become one of them in order to study them properly. It eventually comes across Mari, and seems to merge with her to some degree.
It progressively learns more about humans, but realizes how it is different from them. At some point, it tells Mari that she will die soon and asks what kind of person she wanted to become. She says that she wished to become a strong and kind person, but couldn't become both. The alien is confused by this idea, as it doesn't understand these abstract concepts. Mari asks the alien to take her to the stars when it leaves Earth, and the alien does so as it does not tell lies.
Mari's genetic material is used to give "color to a land billions of light years away," and it is slightly implied that this may be the way Earth was given life.
In a flashback, Mari asks the alien what it thinks that love is. It says that love is a violet word, and thinks that is the simplest way to define it.
