Partner System[]

"MR RAINER's Spectacular Parter System" is one of the medium priority files ÜLAR receives at the start of the game.

  • But MR RAINER, why work in pairs?
  • Here’s why:
    • Share work. Your buddy will always help you out!
    • Share troubles. There’s no problem you can’t solve if you work together!
    • Share knowledge. No matter the difference in your intellectual abilities, the information flow between you will increase the probability of your success!
    • Share guilt. No need to blame yourself for your shortcomings!

Self-Care[]

“Ultimate Self-care Tips for Raincoat-hjörians” is one of the medium priority files ÜLAR receives at the start of the game. It also has a system pop-up for Etheroids

  • But MR RAINER, doesn't my raincoat take care of me already?
  • Indeed. Your raincoat protects you from harm,
  • nurtures your body and powers your VIRTUE.
  • However, it's essential to care for your raincoat in return.
  • Remember:
  • Stay close to etheroids
  • Etheroids produce etherium, which is your main source of power.
  • Get patches from trusted Weavers
  • Badly woven patches may cause irreversible harm to your raincoat.
  • Avoid going OUTSIDE
  • The RAIN and RED FOG are harmful to your raincoat's fibers.

Well-Being[]

This optional part of the But MR RAINER series becomes accessible after MR RAINER enters BACKGROUND MODE. ÜLAR asks MR RAINER to come back, who apologizes about his unavailability and asks ÜLAR to rate his "well-being."

  • But MR RAINER series:
  • "But Mr. Rainer, why is my well-being important?"
  • Well-being is the foundation of productivity.
  • When you're unsatisfied and frustrated, the following happens:
  • 1. Alienation from the act of working
  • If you feel like your work isn't helping you improve
  • your personal potential, you become unmotivated and exhausted.
  • 2. Alienation from other workers
  • When you begin to burn out, you start
  • to avoid social interaction and no community
  • can be built as a result.
  • 3. Alienation from the products of work
  • An unmotivated worker does his job inefficiently
  • and produces mediocre results, leaving our clients dissatisfied.

Daily Tasks[]

The optional additional information on daily tasks become available when MR RAINER offers ÜLAR a booklet to read up on Daily Tasks, labelled "But MR RAINER! series: But Mr Rainer, why do I need to do Daily Tasks?"

  • "But Mr Rainer, why do I need to do Daily Tasks?"
  • Daily tasks allow you to quickly accumulate KUDOS
  • and possibly even raise your VALUE!
  • It's just one task a day, so we assure that you'll never get overwhelmed.
  • There are different types of tasks:
  • Social, Physical, and Self-Help tasks.
  • Social tasks will give you a little push
  • to interact and connect with your peers.
  • Typical social tasks: Compliment, Discuss, Help Out.
  • Physical tasks will help you excercise more.
  • Typical physical tasks: Collect, Deliver, Feed, Plant.
  • Self-help tasks will become the stepping stones on your
  • road to good well-being.
  • Typical self-help tasks: Upgrade, Train, Retrospect, Analyze, Vent.
