ERIK

ERIK is a minor character seen in the right branch of Mr. Rainer's Solve-It Service.

Appearance[]

ERIK has grey skin and a grey raincoat. His horns are also grey,a nd are relatively long. He has two dots on his forehead, placed along a verticle axis. His raincoat is one of the only raincoast seen without any buttons. ERIK's face is seen as expressionless for most of the time he is on screen, as he hasn't yet been programmed to do anything. While expressionless, he has black sclera and white irises with no visible pupil. Once programmed during his livestream, ERIK possesses black irises.

Personality[]

Due to his nature as an artificial raincoat, ERIK has no personality of his own. Instead, he is programmed with a personality that makes him appealing to his audience.

Story[]

When RENE first meets ÜLAR during the right branch of the game, he sends ÜLAR out on a mission to deliver ERIK to DOME MÜ, along with some bottled etherium. ÜLAR is encouraged to complete this mission with the threat of RENE's special patch attached to his coat, which will cause ÜLAR's coat fibers to take damage if not deactivated in two shifts. It is explained that ERIK is programmed to follow ÜLAR until reaching DOME MÜ, and when he loses sight of ÜLAR he will become a geometrical shape until found. It is also noted that ERIK is extremely valuable as an artificial raincoat.

After successfully arriving at DOME MÜ, ÜLAR touches one of the Constellations of Entertainment and is immediately teleported away from ERIK. After being taught by OSKAR how to get back into the DOME's entrance, he is unable to find ERIK and uses the Gyges Umbrella to hide while waiting for someone to come by.

AIK walks by carrying a box that ÜLAR thinks may be ERIK. If ÜLAR chooses to talk to AIK, he finds out that ERIK was successfully delivered and returns to DOME TAU, leading to the An Ode to Ephemerality route. If he chooses to hide and follow AIK, he never learns of what happens to ERIK, leading to the A Bouquet for All Hjörian-kind route.

During the An Ode to Ephemerality route RENE shows ÜLAR how ERIK is doing. ERIK is now a very upbeat and friendly-looking EV star, and streams as a form of entertainment.
