The Language World, or 4F, is a world that is visited in Hello Charlotte Episode Three.

General[]

The Languages World was once filled with villagers who each had the full knowledge of a specific language. There were once many language villagers for each language, however, all of the languages nearly became extinct which forced the Logos Villagers to unite their lands.

The Language World's main area is the Logos Vilage, where the Logos Villagers live. The Logos Villagers live their lives in fear of disappearing like so many of their friends have, and they also worship a Prism in hopes that it will save them. The Logos Village is guarded by a Gatekeeper, who prevents Scarlett and Felix from leaving unless they solve its riddle.

The second main area is a word sea that is just outside of the village. After Scarlett and Felix travel through it, they find the Word Sea Guardian who guards the Core of the Word Sea, also known as Charlotte Wiltshire.

Logos Village[]

Scarlett and Felix decide to travel to 4F in search of Charlotte Wiltshire, as they sense her energy on that floor. Upon going to the floor, Scarlett almost drowns in the Word Sea and gets infected with a language disease which allows her to temporarily understand all languages. She is rescued by the Guide Logos Villager, who explains that the language's purpose is to serve the Speakers, which includes Scarlett and Felix. It also explains to them that all of the villagers have become to disappear into the Word Sea, which the villagers once conquered. The Guide also tells them that they must solve a riddle from the Gatekeeper in order to leave the village, and gives them a Fortune Cookie which turns into the Cookie Message when used.

One of the houses on the left side with a villager standing outside of it will have a journal with a page titled "The Riddle" on the floor. As Scarlett and Felix flip through it, they discover this page and obtain a Clue that is used in order to escape the Logos Village.

The Gatekeeper gives the two the final clue when they have collected all other clues. The correct answer to the Gatekeeper's puzzle is 8934.

Quarantine[]

The Quarantine area is off limits, but inside a sick villager is being operated on and screaming in pain. The Words whose meaning was tainted by the Speakers fell ill, but the villagers are unable to heal them or help them in any way. Only time can according to the guard, which is the reason it's a quarantine rather than a hospital. Scarlett feels pity for the villagers, as there is nothing they are able to do.

Gallery[]

The Gallery is a necessary area for Scarlett and Felix to explore. They receive a Ticket from the owner of the Gallery, which is a clue used to escape the village. Scarlett feels very uncomfortable in this area, as Charles Eyler wrote all of the poems, further amplifying her guilt from abusing him as his tulpa.

  • This month's exhibition: "mind"

Introduction text

a body
clumsy; uncomfortable
gendered; uncertain
sexual; repulsive
a mind
a bouquet of fears and flaws
and intrusive thoughts;
wonderful and godawful
they do not match
yet form a whole
let us admire the imperfection

"the disorder"

they thought you were pretending;
they thought you were kidding;
they thought they'd play along;
believe me
i do know
that you're not a liar

"anorexia / bulimia"

eating was wonderful
eating was awful
eating was blissful
eating was sorrowful
eating was joyful
eating was mortifying
an apple a day
couldn't you keep the hunger away?

"death of personality"

to you, whom i no longer know
there was no other choice
just one can stay;
the other has to perish
once you've failed
right
a failure, that's what you are
you couldn't
you haven't
you didn't
you weren't able
so let me gently lower you
into a tub of acid
watch you slowly dissolve
as i put on your skin
"there's no doubt i'll be the one,"
thought yet another failure

"fluanxol"

listen, dear child
we will split the pill in two
one half for me -
to make me want to get out of bed
and work myself to exhaustion
second half for you -
to calm your heart
and soothe your fears
no one will notice we're not the same

Word Sea[]

Upon exiting the Logos Village, Scarlett and Felix encounter a long tunnel which must be stepped through correctly. Scarlett says that it's too much to memorize at once, but Felix challenges her to do it without looking at her Memo. She tells Seth to take care of it for her.

After going through the tunnel, Scarlett will use a boat in order to travel towards the center of the Word Sea. As she rows the boat, Scarlett talks to Felix about how the world doesn't make any sense to her anymore. The two get sucked into a vortex and land in a white area. Above them is the Core of the Word Sea, a great cluster of the Logos Villagers connected by the Charlotte Wiltshire of 4F. The Guardian refuses to allow them to do anything to the cluster for the sake of the Speakers, as that is their purpose.

Trivia[]
