Linq is a drug that is used and referenced frequently in Hello Charlotte: Episode Three.
General[]
Linq allows for two people to share their thoughts and memories telepathically. It is introduced on Day 1 in Episode 0 as part of optional plot in a commercial that airs on one of the TVs in Charlotte's home. Scarlett Eyler is seen using Linq, and Q84 is affected by Linq resulting in the player being able to see Scarlett's memories.
Story[]
Hello Charlotte 3[]
On Day 1, one of the TV in Charlotte's shows a commercial of Linq. When Q84 goes to school, many students in the School are using it, showings signs of addiction and overdose.
On Day 2, Q84 is attacked by Scarlett Eyler from behind, and is forcibly Linqed with. This results in the player seeing the first memory of Charles.
Charlotte tries to learn the identity of her attacker, and goes to the school's rooftop the next day in order to find out who attacked her. She injects the dealer with White Flu after getting a free sample of Linq. Afterwards, goes down to the Infirmary and has the option to inject C with Linq or try to wake him up normally. If she tries to inject him with the Linq, C will stop her just before she successfully injects him and complain that she woke him up harshly.
After Anri's Execution Hour on Day 3, Scarlett stabs Q84 and Linqs with her. Q84 eventually confronts Scarlett afterwards, and makes her Wish to destroy Scarlett, citing that Scarlett's portrayal of Charles' memories was akin to making a mockery out of him.
Item[]
The Linq item is found on the rooftop of the School on the third day, after speaking wtih C in the library. It cannot be used, but is still mandatory to collect. Q84 can attempt to use it on C while he is sleeping, however he will wake up and stop her from doing so.
