The Scissors is a recurring item in the Hello Charlotte series, serving very different purposes in each episode it has appeared.
Hello Charlotte 1[]
In the first episode, Felix will hand the Scissors to Charlotte when they split up in the Maze so that she can protect herself. When used, an image about the scissors will display on screen. Seth with then beg her not to hurt herself with them, to which she reassures him she never intended to.
- Seth: Please don't harm yourself.
- Charlotte: I wasn't meaning to, silly!
If Felix stays behind in the maze, the Scissors are used as a method of Charlotte committing suicide to avoid being killed by White Freya. If Charlotte is left behind at the maze, she is possessed by an "unknown" Executioner that kills White Freya. From then on, the Scissors will be gone from the inventory permanently.
Advertisement[]
One of the advertisements in the Slaughterhouse world shows straight shears, another example of scissors appearing in this episode. These are not the scissors Felix gives her in the maze, as these appear later in the game.
Hello Charlotte 2[]
In Episode 2, after Charlotte gets her hair cut by some bullies, Umbrella Man possesses the school nurse and encourages her to take the scissors from the infirmary in order to tidy up her hair. Here, the Scissors do nothing when the player attempts to use it, but it must be taken nevertheless. After collecting it, Charlotte immediately goes home and heads to the bathroom to try and cut her hair, where Aiden will chime in and fix up her hair for her. The item remains in her STUFF, but is never used again.
Delirium[]
In Hello Charlotte: Delirium, the Scissors once again returns, and like its previous appearances, it serves little purpose beyond the one intended for the game's plot. This time, the scissors remains in Charlotte's things for the majority of the game's duration, used to free Anri from the Reign's grasp.
