The Reign (also known as The Core) is the antagonist of Hello Charlotte: Delirium.
Appearance[]
The Reign is depicted to have a bizarre appearance. The Reign has multitudes of eyes, tubes, hands, and meaty appendages that span over a very large area. The Reign connects itself to Anri, attaching her to tubes to provide her life.
Personality[]
Very little is seen of The Reign's personality, but it is shown to have a great desire to restore and protect organic life as a whole, even to a sacrificial or destructive point. It may have some level of sympathy, as it seemed interested in keeping Anri from being gutted, though this may have been a threat intended to keep Charlotte from taking Anri back.
Story[]
The Reign is first mentioned when Charlotte encounters OSIRIS. OSIRIS shows distaste in The Reign and later explains to Charlotte that The Reign is the remains and failures of attempts at creating life. When Charlotte encounters The Reign in the Meat World, it is holding Anri hostage after finding her injured and saving her. It plans to use Anri to make her the "mother of all life," and says it cannot let Anri go because its tubes are the only thing keeping Anri alive. Charlotte distracts The Reign by asking questions while OSIRIS initiates self-destruction, which then destroys The Reign. Its remains are then eaten as Charlotte consumes the world.

- The Reign's bizarre appearance resembles The Oracle when it is not in a vessel. Its meaty appendages, eyes, and hands, are traits shared with The Oracle.
